We offer affordable, accredited Hair & Beauty courses At SJC Training Academy T/A HB Academy, we work hard to improve education and opportunities in the hair and beauty sector. We offer numerous, intensive and fast track courses, from evenings, daytime’s and weekends, all at affordable prices. We are situated in a new purpose built training academy in Sidcup, Blackfen.
The Hair & Beauty Academy is a well established business, it is a standing successful private and funded hair & beauty training school, with tutors that have over 15 years experience in the industry. We concentrate on intensive training only . We can arrange dates to suit your needs and also offer weekend courses. Our classes are kept small so that students get close observation from your tutor though-out the course, and close guidance to help you succeed.
When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a diploma certificate issued by SJC Training Academy and accredited by ABT / CPD. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home or mobile.
HB Academy is a training salon for industry professionals of the future. Our students are always in need of models to practice treatments on at a reduced cost. If you would like to request to be a model, please contact the salon.
We offer accredited courses in hairdressing, barbering, beauty therapy, nail technology, makeup artistry, lash and brow treatments, and more. Short diplomas and advanced masterclasses are also available.
Yes, all our courses are fully accredited by recognized awarding bodies (e.g., VTCT, and CPD).
No prior experience is necessary for most beginner-level courses. Advanced courses may require previous qualifications or experience.

Parking is reserved for staff, so there is limited space available on our forecourt, however clients are able to use the forecourt if there is space. Students are required to find alternative parking. If you are a student or are unable to park on the forecourt we recommend parking down Sycamore Avenue or Days Lane.
