VTCT LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN NAIL TECHNOLOGY

Course Overview

This qualification is delivered by HB Academy and has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, electric files, application and design of nail art, how to display retail stock and promote sales and your own personal health and wellbeing.  This qualification requires dedication and commitment as you will be required to practice from home as well as attending your lessons.  If you want to be the best you need to work hard and practise as much as possible.

Fully Funded for anyone aged 19+

Prerequisites – There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

THE MODULES YOU WILL STUDY ARE:

• Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon
• Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
• Maintaining personal health and wellbeing
• Provide Manicure treatments
• Provide Pedicure treatments
• Apply and maintain nail enhancements (Acrylics)
• Display stock to promote sales in a salon
• Enhance nails using electric files
• Promote and sell products and services
• Cosmetic science for nail enhancements
• Design and apply nail art
• Anatomy and physiology for nail services
• Gel polish for nails

Government Funding Explained?

It is a scheme run by the Government to allow people to develop or change their careers. You can have up to 4 funded courses in your lifetime to do so.

Level 2 – Government Grant (non-repayable) and requirements are to be met. (This does not come into your 4 credits)

Level 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 – Advanced Learner Loans – Anyone is entitled to this, no credit checks is required. Amount is repaid from your tax once you are earning above £27,000 per year. You can still use this service, even if you have used 1-3 of your 4 credits elsewhere.
